Emergency crews in Texas, United States responded to an unusual incident wherein they rescued two horses.

According to news agency United Press International, the trailers of the animals rolled in a crash in Austin.

Authorities took some time working to free the animals from the trailer, causing a delay in traffic in the area.

The Austin Fire Department then posted photos on Twitter of the scene near U.S. 183 and Lakeline Mall Drive.

Several moments later, the departmet posted some photos again on the social media platform.

This time, it shows the two horses standing in the grass near the road, both alive and uninjured.

Earlier this year, local officials rescued a horse from deep mud in the middle of a wooden area in Wisconsin.

According to various news reports posted online, the rescue operation lasted for eight hours.

Firefighters, police and members of the public as well participated to save the life of the horse.

Keaghan Pike, the owner, said her horse, a 7-year-old named Stetson, broke through a fence and then ran about a half-mile.

“I followed his hoofprints… [w]hen I found him, he was already in the mud,” Pike told reporters.
