Around 20 HORSES Seen Galloping on Busy Highway

A herd of up to 20 horses went galloping loose on a busy highway after escaping from a paddock in South Africa.

According to news agency United Press International, the incident took place along the N2 highway in Umhlali.

Drivers on the road near Salt Rock on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast spotted the horses weaving through traffic.

Witnesses then posted video online showing the horses running in front of and alongside vehicles on the highway.

IPSS Medical Rescue immediately sent units to the scene to find the horses had already safely exited the highway.

They then returned the horses to their owners with help from the public, without injuring the animals.

Meanwhile, officials at Death Valley National Park in United States seek to capture a wandering goat.

According to various news reports online, it wanders in the California part of the park.

A tourist spotted the goat near Stovepipe Wells in California and shared a photo with officials.

In a Facebook post, park rangers they now seek to capture the animal, which is not native to the park.

“[D]omestic goats are a known vector of a respiratory disease that is fatal to bighorn sheep,” they said.
