It was an unfortunate Monday for the bakery owners in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as they get mugged in cash and equipment. Determined to catch the suspect, the owners thought of a unique way on how to get help by baking some cookies.

A more brilliant and artistic approach to this is to imprint the burglar’s face on the cookie. That’s exactly how the owners of Canfora Bakery did it after going through security footage on April 19th. They baked a total of 100 cookies!.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, it was midnight, when the man forcibly opened the lock at the bakery and took the cash from the drawer.

After printing the image of the suspect, they put it on an edible paper. Dozens of cookies have the image of the robber. The residents and regular customers enjoyed it too.

The couple made an announcement on their Facebook account, inviting the Bay View community to indulge and have a taste of their bickie. They made a rule of “one per family” for the information to spread faster.

Hours after the post went viral, they started receiving hints of the burglar’s whereabouts. Thanks for the cookie!
