A woman found message in a bottle tossed into the ocean off Canada’s Prince Edward Island in 2018.

According to news agency United Press International, it washed 2 and a half years later on a beach in Texas.

Dianne Jurek said she spotted the said bottle while walking on Matagorda Beach earlier this month.

Jurek explained that she brought the bottle with her and opened it once she arrived at home.

“I just thought how interesting, when we looked it up, how far it traveled to our beach,” she told reporters.

The bottle contained a message from a certain Lucas MacDonald, who included his contact information in the note.

MacDonald said he tossed the bottle into the water while tuna fishing off the coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Meanwhile, a boy from Canada discovered a message in a bottle tossed into the water more than 50 miles away 25 years earlier.

According to various news reports online, Nyima Mitchell just had a backyard campfire.

But he spotted a bottle under a pine tree, which he opened using a pair of pliers.

Then he discovered a message dated August 12, 1995 signed by a certain Aylmer, Quebec, 14 years old.
