The grandmother’s brutally honest note went viral after revealing how cruel her boss “aggressively dressed her down” on her last day before retiring from the bank.

Fed up with her boss’ attitude and cruel behavior, the employee made a brutally honest note, after working for 35 years, cleaning different banks. In her brutally honest letter, she encouraged her boss from HSBC to be kind and treat people with respect. 

According to Daily Mail, Cleaner Julie Cousins, from Southampton, who works for an agency but cleaned at the bank for five years.

The cleaner, 64, said she had enjoyed and relied financially upon the work in the past. She also said that “cleaners are forgotten people.”

Her son, Joe, posted her resignation letter that went immediately viral online. She wrote she chose to leave after a female manager had “dressed her down” in an “aggressive” way.

“So going forward, please all of you remember: in a world when you can be anything, BE KIND,” the letter reads.

Meanwhile, her son also posted, “And this is why I love my mum. She’s been cleaning banks for 35 years and today walked out with this lovely note left for that awful manager.”

Netizens commented and praised her for speaking up and taking the issue in a more open perspective. 

A user wrote: “I was raised to believe that a job is a job and anyone getting up and going to work deserves the same respect, whether they pick up trash or run the company. Good for your mom! Respect!”
