Canine RESCUES Smaller Dog From Drowning in Home Pool

A dog rescued a smaller dog from drowning in the backyard pool of a home in South Africa.

According to news agency United Press International, a security camera captured the incident.

Couple Byron and Melissa Thanarayen said they returned to their home in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg.

There they found Chucky, their toy pomeranian, was mysteriously wet so they checked the security footages.

They then discovered that 13-year-old Chucky had fallen into their backyard pool while walking next to it.

The video shows Jessie, the couple’s 7-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, circle the pool.

Jessie was eventually able to lift Chucky out of the water with her mouth, saving his life.

Meanwhile, a dog from Kansas, United States ran to ask help for his owner during a medical emergency.

According to various news reports online, police officers have hailed the canine as a hero.

The Kansas City Police Department said a resident began to experience a medical emergency while walking his dog.

“The dog quickly ran to alert a nearby neighbor and they called 911,” the department added on a Facebook post.

After that, the man received prompt medical attention and now doing well as a result of the actions of his dog.
