A gigantic lizard wandered into a convenience store in Thailand and climbed onto the shelves.

According to news agency United Press International, a customer captured a video of the unusual scene.

Jejene Narumpa the decided to post the materials on Facebook to share what he just encountered.

One of the footages show the lizard, believed to be a water monitor, browsing the aisles at the 7-Eleven store.

The giant animal then climbs onto the shelves, knocking numerous products to the ground.

It is still unclear though how the store management removed the water monitor from the visity of its business.

Experts explained that monitors are common in Thailand and are known as some of the largest reptiles in the world.

Last year, a number of hungry bears broke into convenience stores and supermarkets in California.

Accordingly, customer followed close behind and hit the bear on its backside, sending it running back outside.
