A Canadian goose appeared concerned after checking on her mate while undergoing surgery in New England.

According to news agency United Press International, the staff noticed that Arnold limped.

They then took him for a surgery after they discovered he had two fractures on his foot.

But just as Arnold was about to go to surgery, they heard a tapping on the clinic door.

Another goose tracked him down and attempted to get into the clinic to be by Arnold’s side.

“She remained there throughout the entire procedure, watching us work, never moving from the doorway,” they said.

Meanwhile, an aggressive goose outside a diner has been attacking humans who get too close to his brood.

According to various news reports, customers and employees at the New Jersey diner complain.

They said they frequently spot the male goose in the parking lot at the Park West Diner in Woodland Park.

The animal has knocked out at least one man and left with bruises on his face from the bird’s pecking.

Animal behavior experts explained that male geese can go aggressive this time of year because they are protecting their eggs.
