According to Coconuts Hong Kong, the local police looked into an incident involving a traffic officer getting a little fancy with his motorbike skills.

The viral video shows the cop, in a fluorescent jacket and his mask, riding a motorbike on Castle Peak Road going to Tuen Mun.

On the way, he nears a group of unsuspecting cyclists then shortly after he half-stands up on his pedals and dances his hips left and right.

It could have been to his amusement that he decided to mimic the bikers. Nonetheless, his tactic bewildered them.

HK01 also reported the traffic cop works with the Tsuen Wan traffic division.

Police reiterated he handled a complaint case in Tuen Mun when the video was captured.

Moreover, the 8-second video first appeared on the HK Biker Hub Facebook page.

But they trimmed it down to 4 seconds just showing the cop standing up on his bike. The rest of the clip cuts to him driving and speeding off normally.

While the clip became a spectacle for many users online, others heavily criticized the officer for violating road safety regulations.
