A house for sale in Florida, United States has a centuries-old oak tree growing through the middle of the home.

According to news agency United Press International, the property is drawing attention due to the unusual feature.

Stacey Purcell, owner of Gulfport Realty, said the “tree house” has proven difficult to sell.

Purcell said people don’t like the massive oak tree that passes through the middle of rooms including the kitchen.

“There were people who walked in and walked out,” Purcell told reporters in an interview.

But she said the unusual property is “perfect” for a city with the motto: “Keep Gulfport weird.”

Meanwhile, a pastel-colored Chicago home popularly known as the “Candy Land House” goes for sale.

According to various reports, real estate agent compared it to a life-sized “Barbie’s dream home.”

“The whole house is pastel-colored and glitter from head to toe,” Kathy Schrage, Redfin real estate agent said.

Owner Jackie Seiden and her husband, Don, remodeled the house into a pastel work of art.

Jackie said the pastel colors she started using inside the house soon spread to the exterior.

Schrage said Seiden would prefer to sell the home to someone who would keep the house’s unique elements.
