Not even the piercing winter in Texas hampered a man from doing what makes him happy–and that is by skiing through an almost-empty Houston interstate highway.

Travis McGullam proudly shared on his Facebook a video showing how he managed to frolic nonchalantly along the Interstate 10 in Houston.

And it’s not just him who took advantage of the situation. He also brought along some of his friends to keep him company with his new hobby of highway skiing.

And as if the snow isn’t enough to make them happy, they even ask a pickup truck to pull them throughout the length of this highway.

Do you think it’s done? Well apparently, not yet. They also managed to drink from a canned beverage that came in handy from their pockets.

Although this may seem insensitive to some due to the pandemic restrictions, McGullam showed in the video he’s not. They did their best to distance themselves from the passing vehicles.

But what really went on before this? McGullam said it’s mainly because of boredom due to a power outage the night before the winter storm.

McGullam said he didn’t find highway skiing any riskier since it’s nowhere near the difficulty of actually skiing on mountain slopes.
