The world’s deepest pool with 148-ft depth and a water volume 27 times than your average pool finally goes public.

In a LADbible article, Deepspot beats present record holder Y-40 Deep Joy in Italy, falling 10-ft short at 138-ft.

World’s deepest pool resides about 40-km from Warsaw and took two years’ construction before finally opening to the public.

Furthermore, Deepspot boasts a depth fit for scubadiving but is also open for recreational swimming.

Also, visitors can maximize their stay at restaurants and hotel rooms overlooking the pool.

After officially opening on Saturday, November 21st, around a dozen or so spectators went to pay a visit and experience swimming like never before.

“It is no substitute for the sea but it is definitely a good place to learn and to train in order to dive safely in open water,” diving instructor Przemyslaw Kacprzak said.

“And it’s fun! It’s like a kindergarten for divers,” he continued.

Another fanatic recruit named Jerzy Nowacki, a 30-year-old forestry officer and diving novice, also chimed in:

“For my first time, we went down five meters but you can see all the way to the bottom – the wreck, the caves – it’s magnificent!”

Meanwhile Deepspot director Michal Braszczynski said the indoor swimming center will become a hub for training firefighters and the army.

“There are many scenarios for training and we can also test different equipment,” he said.

However, Deepspot has to give up the title in just a few short months as a 164-ft pool called the Blue Abyss in Colchester, the UK opens its doors early next year.
