A man from Virginia, United States stopped at a store to buy dish soap and ended up becoming a millionaire.

According to news agency United Press International, he won a $1 million lottery prize while running the errand.

During a recent job in the Fredericksburg, Brian Jasper dropped by a Royal Farms store to pick up dish soap.

Japer then decided to buy a Commonwealth scratch-off lottery ticket in the store just to simply try his luck.

He scratched the ticket when he got back to his truck and then realized that he won a $1 million top-prize jackpot.

“I saw all the zeros, and it blew my mind. I’ve never won something like this before,” the millionaire said.

Meanwhile, A man from Kansas did his mother a favor and won $75,000 from a scratch-off lottery ticket.

According to various news reports posted online, he bought the winning ticket at a local grocery store.

Thomas Jones and his wife, Courtney Farber, they went to the store to buy groceries for Jones’ mother.

While checking out some items, the pair suddenly decided to buy a few lottery tickets.
