A woman from Missouri, U.S. won $1 million jackpot in scratch-off lottery ticket with the help of her son.

According to news agency United Press International, the kid gave the tickets to her as a Christmas present.

The lucky woman, named Trisha Miller, won some small amounts then asked her son to use the money for more tickets.

The tickets he brought back to her included a $10 MAX-A-MILLION scratch-off that earned her a $1 million jackpot prize.

“I always want to help my kids as much as I can. All my kids are super happy,” Miller told lottery officials.

The woman said latest winnings will allow her to buy a new SUV for herself and new cars for her kids.

A woman from Australia also won the jackpot using the ticket she received as a Christmas gift.

According to various reports online, she has not purchased a lottery ticket in the span of a decade.

The woman, who won a total more than $800,000, said she do not actually play lottery games.

“I actually never buy TattsLotto tickets. I received this one as a gift for Christmas from my family,” she shared.

The lucky winner said she now plans to pay back her family members for the unexpectedly valuable gift.
