A man in the U.K. faces assault charges after allegedly farting in an Uber and attacking the driver for protesting.

According to The New York Post, the odiferous incident reportedly occurred last year.

James Mallett let it rip in the back of the ride while on the way to a local nightclub with three other people.

The Uber driver, named Aleksander Bonchev, had allegedly suffered abuse at the hands of the passengers.

Prosecutor James Scutt said Bonchev told Mallett “to leave the vehicle.”

Bonchev responded in defense by punching Mallett in the face, knocking him to the ground.

The court heard the driver was unable to work after sustaining a broken finger and lost his car, accommodation and job with Uber.

“He behaved in an unattractive manner that night,” said Anthony Bignall, defending Mallett.

The incident landed the suspect a six month-jail term, a $650 fine and 120 hours of community service due to assault.

Meanwhile, another man called an Uber to send an injured animal to a sanctuary.

Tim Crowley was “day drinking” with his friends on a weekend afternoon when he saw a bird falling from the sky.
