New study shows men who watch a lot of porn increase risk of developing erectile dysfunction when having sex with a partner.

According to The Daily Mail report, the easy access to adult film desensitizes  men. They may not get aroused when engaging in intercourse themselves.

Researchers from Belgium, Denmark, and the UK based their findings on 3,267 men’s answers. This came from the 118-question online survey about their porn, masturbation, and other sex habits.

Results show 35% of respondents said they are more stimulated watching other people having sex on screen.

Further, 90% of men skip through to the most erotic parts of an adult movie when indulging in some alone time.

Respondents watch porn around 70 minutes, with most engaging in individual bouts of between five and 15 minutes.

Professor Gunter de Win, lead author of the study, said only 65% of men prefers sex with a partner than watching porn.

Professor Maarten Albersen, said porn causes impaired sexual satisfaction during partner-sex.

Further, the Professor Albersen said the study contributes to the ongoing debates regarding the negative and positive effects of pornographic materials as treatment of sexual dysfunctions.
