According to Insider, Gracie Lorincz received an email from the VP of Operations at Ava Lane Boutique in Auburn Hills.

In her viral TikTok video, the 21-year-old fresh grad said she applied for a job at the boutique.

She explained she sent an application for a position as a brand representative and shared a screenshot of the email.

However, it seems that the VP sent his feedback to Lorincz’s email accidentally instead of the hiring manager’s.

The email, sent by Chuck DeGrendel, reads:

This girl is fresh out of college (Hope College) and not that cute. She applied to the sales model position. Are you sure you want me to interview her?

Later on, the store revealed the email was actually meant for DeGrendel’s wife and co-owner, Laura DeGrendel.

Consequently, Lorincz shared in the video that she felt offended after receiving the email.

In the video, she wrote the sarcastic caption, “Feeling amazing.”

As of writing, the video amassed over 1.7 million plays and went viral on every social media platform.

Moreover, DeGrendel publicly apologized after Lorincz outed him for backstabbing her for her appearance.
