Shopee customers in Southeast are looking for mysterious Mr. Hu after receiving their ordered items from the sender listed under his name.

In a now viral tweet posted last November 19, user @ellezamuri asked who is Mr. Hu as he is now “the only man that matters.” Netizens also reacted that they also received parcels from the same sender.

As of this writing, the tweet garnered over 19,600 likes and more than 17,100 retweets.

One Twitter user commented, “Mr Hu also known as Mr. Who.” “Shout out Mr. Hu where you at?” the other responded.

According to a Mothership article, packages from the mysterious sender were sent to countries like Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Shopee customers who have the same sender said the sender is from Shenzhen, the city in China. It is where Shangxue Industrial Park is located. Shenzhen is known to be the home of sorting centres, from which parcels are organized and shipped out.

Netizens speculated that he is Hu Jianhua, president of China Merchants Group.

Meanwhile, one netizen explained that he might be a dropshipper.

“Guys, for your information, all the items that we buy from Shopee, especially from sellers from China, will be directed to a warehouse. The original sellers don’t handle the shipping,” a netizen explained.

The netizen also added that the people at the warehouse handle the shipping, who is most probably Mr. Hu.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hu is not alone in being the popular Shopee parcel sender. Mr. Dongjoo Lee (from Korea’s Gyeonggi province) and Mr. Chu Wise (from Shanghai in China) have also sent out a large number of parcels.
