Another mysterious monolith has appeared on Earth after the one in Utah disappeared. This time, in Romania.

According to online site The Huff Post, the metal was found on Batca Doamnei Hill in the city of Piatra Neamţ in northeastern Romania.

“We have started looking into the strange appearance,” said Rocsana Josanu of the Neamt Culture and Heritage Department.

Josanu added that it stands on private property, which is a protected area on an archaeological site.

“Before installing something there, they needed permission from our institution,” she explained.

Over in Utah, a helicopter crew discovered a same strange metal monolith in a desert, leaving local authorities baffled.

According to various reports, they found the 10 to 12 feet tall object planted in the ground.

“That’s been about the strangest thing that I’ve come across out there,” said Bret Hutchings, the helicopter pilot.

Hutchings said a biologist counting big horn sheep on the aircraft was the first one to spot the structure from the sky.

But several days later, the recently discovered metal in the remote part of Utah has suddenly vanished.

The Utah Bureau of Land Management said there will be no investigation because it is not part of the public lands.
