A survey conducted in late April this year found out that named Emily are most likely to cheat at board games.

According to a Unilad report, marketing agency Boutique conducted a survey asking British public who in their family was most likely to cheat. Results show individuals with the name Emily as the most named and shamed.

Meanwhile, an Emily from Manchester defended herself and claimed she never cheated anyone in her life.

In an interview, she said she did not even seize the opportunity when she could whenever she played board games even while drunk. She said the closest thing she made to unfairly winning a game when her parents would let her win when she was still a toddler.

However, the other Emilys from Liverpool and Lancashire were less innocent. They confessed their board game crimes and did not even feel bad about those instances.

Runner-ups were also disclosed in the survey. This includes Megan, Hannah, Georgia, and Claire.

Meanwhile, Ashley tops the list for the names of males who most likely to cheat during board games. Other names are William, Scott, Callum, and Isaac.

According to shopping platform Idealo, sales of board and puzzle games soared by 2100%. Many people in the country play indoor games as stricter lockdown restrictions are being implemented.
