Police Captures COVID-19 Inmate, Wraps His FULL BODY WITH TAPE

Authorities in Vietnam captured an inmate who is also positive in COVID-19 then wrapped his whole body with tape.

Smart Local Vietnam reported that the inmate who contracted COVID-19 escaped from prison. Three days later, authorities successfully captured him and made sure he wouldn’t be able to infect anyone. They wrapped whis whole body with a tape that will serve as his protective suit.

VN Express explained that Nguyen Kim An, 27, is already on death row. He was in prison for robbery and murder. 

When he lost his motorbike and computer in 2014, he poisoned his friend from school and stole his belongings. He invited the victim over to his house and put drugs in his drink that caused the man’s seizure. Mr. An also strangled him until he stopped moving. He then immediately took his friend’s phone and dumped his friend’s body into the river.

He was detained in Chí Hòa Prison in District 10, Saigon, where 81 cases of the virus. The police immediately noticed he was gone.

Three days later, they spotted the fugitive wandering around Thủ Đức City, Saigon.

While the authorities waited for the car going back to the prison, they dressed him in a protective suit using tape. The police said this will prevent any resisting attempt from him and minimize the risk of getting COVID-19 from him.
