A US restaurant owner decided to close the restaurant for a week and treat his staff to Las Vegas for Vacation.

Ramen House Louisville in Kentucky took its employees on a week-long trip to Las Vegas for vacation. The owner said it was a much needed break for all the staff with the stress and anxiety that the ongoing pandemic brings.

Restaurant owner Jonathan Ham shared the trip was for nearly a dozen of his employees. He also paid for their plane tickets and lodging as well.

“I just don’t think it should be all about the money,” the considerate employer said. “It should be about the relationships that we build.”

“For the most part, all of my people love working for this restaurant. They believe in it, and they all have that accountability where they feel like it’s part of them. And that’s what I wanted to instill, and this is just a thank you gesture.”

In its Facebook post, the restaurant says it’ll treat its hardworking and diligent staff.

The caption of the post goes: “Sorry we are closed this week.. our employees have worked so hard and diligently through all the crazy times we went through. They deserve a break. So we’ve decided to take them to Vegas. We will return next week during normal business hours. Till then ✌.”
