A vaccine recipient in Texas, United States ended up claiming a whopping $1 million jackpot in the lottery.

According to news agency United Press International, he received it for free after vaccination.

Gary Smith said he received a COVID-19 dose while visiting his family in the state last week.

The vaccine recipient then used his vaccination proof to obtain a $20 scratch-off lottery ticket for free as an incentive.

The Texas man could not believe it when he scratched off the $1 Million Spectacular ticket and he won.

“I know they’re lying. I couldn’t believe it,” Smith recalled to reporters in an interview.

Meanwhile, the government of Hawaii plans to roll out a special lottery to distribute some unusual prizes.

According to various news reports online, it will give away about 700 goats living in a national park.

The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources said the goats reside at the Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park.

Experts consider them an invasive species so officials plan to distribute them to permitted people.

They will distribute the permits through a random lottery for at least 20 goats for each win.
