Tinder Bans User for ‘CATFISHING’ after Posing with Photoshopped Baby Yoda

Dating site Tinder has banned a user after he posted a picture of him with a Star Wars character.

Tabloid newspaper The Sun reported that Carter Hambley, a comedian, uploaded a photo of him with Baby Yoda to his profile.

But the seemingly obviously Photoshopped image did not go down well with all of his “matches.”

One of them asked: “Where did you get that Yoda doll?”

Hambley responded that it was digitally manipulated, not actually a doll.

Still confused, the woman hit back: “No not the photo. I mean the Yoda doll.”

In response, he explained again that it was not a doll and asked: “What kinda movies do you like, besides Star Wars, presumably?”

But the woman took offence to his use of Photoshop and called him out on Tinder for “catfishing.”

“You’re a liar and a sneak and i’m reporting you. Not letting you fool anyone else with your little tricks,” she said.

Posting screenshots of the conversation on Twitter, Hambley wrote: “God, I hate this app”.

The post has received a staggering one million likes, over 140,000 retweets and 5,000 replies.

While many users found the scenario laughable, others were quick to share their own dating fails.
