A pair of identical twins in Louisiana, United States received scholarship offers up to $24 million in total.

According to news agency United Press International, it came from the scores of colleges to which they applied.

Denisha and Destiny Caldwell said they received offers from more than 200 colleges and universities.

This, as they both expect to graduate at the top of their class from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge.

“We started off competing against each other and now we compete with each other,” Destiny Caldwell told reporters in an interview.

The twins said they have decided to attend the University of California-Los Angeles to study math and science.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old boy from North Carolina will graduate high school and college in the same week.

According to various news reports online, he took a few extra classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mike Wimmer will graduate Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with an associate’s degree on May 21.

Wimmer will also graduate Concord Academy High School just seven days later on May 28.

“I’m like a sponge, I take in knowledge very fast,” he told reporters in an interview.
