Two students at a school in Massachusetts, United States helped inspire each other to earn scholarships.

According to news agency United Press International, they collectively received over a million dollars in offers.

Samantha Josephs and Daphne Muhammed study at Hampden Charter School of Science in Chicopee.

“Me and Daphne, we’ve been best friends for a while. We kind of just trade ideas,” Josephs said in an interview.

That sharing of ideas led the two students to collectively earn more than $1 million in scholarship money.

“Applying to college is a stressful process but have a support group,” Muhammed told reporters.

Meanwhile, a pair of identical twins in Louisiana received scholarship offers up to $24 million in total.

According to various news reports online, it came from the scores of colleges to which they applied.

Denisha and Destiny Caldwell said they received offers from more than 200 colleges and universities.

This, as they both expect to graduate at the top of their class from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge.

“We started off competing against each other and now we compete with each other,” Destiny Caldwell told reporters in an interview.
