A lottery player in Kansas, United States unknowingly left a winning lottery ticket inside a car.

According to news agency United Press International, it sat forgotten in their vehicle for more than two months already.

The Osage County resident shared that they only bought one lottery ticket for the 2020 Holiday Millionaire Raffle.

However, they bought it early enough so it would be eligible for all three Early Bird drawings that time.

“It was only until today that I saw it in my vehicle’s console and thought I’d take it in,” the player said.

Meanwhile, a woman from Australia did not know she won the lottery jackpot prize until over a month later.

According to various news reports online, the lucky winner earned a total jackpot of $1,086,400.

In an interview, she shared that she bought her ticket for the TattsLotto drawing at Bardens Pharmacy in Darwin.

However, the woman did not check the ticket immediately to see if it she won until over a month later.

“I went to buy a ticket for this weekend’s draw. I had absolutely no idea. It’s crazy!” she said.
