A Chinese woman broke her own Guinness World Record for the longest eyelash across the globe.

According to news agency United Press International, it measured at a whopping eight inches long.

You Jianxia originally set the record in June 2016 when her longest lash stood at 4.88 inches long.

“I first realized that my eyelashes were growing in 2015. They continue to grow slowly,” Jianxia said in an interview.

The woman said she tried visiting medical professionals and finding scientific reasons, such as genes.

The Guinness officially measured Jianxia’s eyelash on the upper eyelid of her left eye for a new record.

Meanwhile, a woman who once held the record for the longest hair on a teenager has received her her first haircut.

According to various news reports, she then donated it for display at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum.

Nilanshi Patel from India first set the Guinness record for longest hair on a teenager when she was 16.

That time, the hair of the now-18-year-old woman measured 5 feet, 7 inches long.

“[B]ecause of my hair, I am known as the ‘real-life Rapunzel,’ now it’s time to give back,” Patel said.
